Description

Quality acrylic fence paint fortified with UV inhibitors and elastomeric polymers, designed to beautify and protect wood plank fences, barns and more. Environmentally friendly water-based formula.
Application:

Surface shall be clean, dry and free of any dirt or contaminants. Application temperature must be a minimum of 60 ºF and rising. Do not apply when temperature is expected to drop below 50 ºF within a 24- hour period. Be sure to wear eye protection and gloves when mixing and applying this product. In areas where dew or fog accumulates in the early evening, it is best to coat in the morning. Stop coating by early afternoon (3:00 pm) to prevent wash off, which will occur if dew, fog, or rain arrives before coating dries. Do not apply if rain is imminent or forecast within 24 hours of application. Stir container thoroughly. Apply by brush, roller or airless spray (suggested tip size is a minimum of .017 to .021). Clean tools with water immediately after use.

Drying Time:

Dry to the touch in 2-3 hours. Allow 6-8 hours before applying second coat.

How Much Barn & Fence Paint Do You Need?

Coverage:

Approximately 450-475 square feet per 4.75 Gallon container, depending on porosity of surface.

Up to 5225 square feet per 55 Gallon container, depending upon porosity of surface.

4-Board Wood Plank Fence Coverage:

Approximately 50 four-board fence panels per 55 gallon drum of paint. Approximately 4.5 four-board fence panels per 5 gallon pail of paint.

What is Considered a 4-Board Fence Panel?:

One 4-board fence panel consists of four (4) 16 ft lengths of fence boards and 2 fence posts.

3-Board Wood Plank Fence Coverage:

Approximately 70 three-board fence panels per 55 gallon drum of paint. Approximately 8 three-board fence panels per 5 gallon pail of paint.

What is Considered a 3-Board Fence Panel?:

One 3-board fence panel consists of three (3) 16 ft lengths of fence boards and 2 fence posts.

To calculate the number of Fence Panels simply take the total length (in feet) of fence and divide by 16 feet. Example: 2,000 feet of 4-board fence would have 125 panels. (2000 ft. / 16 ft. = 125 panels)
